The desert festival in Jaisalmer is an annual event, which take place in the month of February, three day before the full moon.
Celebrated among the beautiful sands of Thar Desert Sam dunes, the festival bring the remote, romantic, and unspoiled location to life at the time of three-day extravaganza of delights of the desert.

1 Hours Before Flight Time
After reaching the Delhi airport, our representative takes you to check-in at hotel to relax yourself with the comfort of the room. Then, visit some major tourist attractions available in Delhi including India Gate, Qutub Minar, Parliament House, Humayun Tomb, Raj Ghat, and the Lotus temple.
Before returning to hotel for an overnight sight, you can take a leisurely walk in the evening in order to explore the nightlife of Delhi.
Next day, travel to Jodhpur. On reaching the Jodhpur, get an assisted transfer to a pre-booked hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, you can visit city’s major tourist attractions like Mehrangarh fort, Jaswant Thada, Raj Ka Bagh palace, and Umaid Bhavan Palace.
Schedule your evening to visit the beautiful government museum and Umed Garden. Have stay in the hotel overnight.
On the third day of your tour, start your journey towards the golden city of Rajasthan after your breakfast at the hotel. Upon your reach, check-in at a pre-booked hotel and then, proceed to visit the wonderful Jaisalmer Fort together with the Royal Cenotaphs.
Now, it is the time to take part in the desert festival. Spend the rest of your day in enjoying and participating in several programs like the Mr and Miss desert, and Turban tying competition etc. Return to hotel for the overnight stay.
You can join the Mangal aarti, which takes place at Gadsisar Lake, every morning. Get back to hotel for having breakfast. Then, you can enjoy by participating in the Tug of war game, which means Indians Vs Foreigners. Regardless of gender, everyone can able to participate in this game.
There is also a Matka race competition to test your balancing skills. You can also indulge yourself in other games like the camel polo and camel decoration, which surely leaves you amused. Later, get back to the hotel and stay overnight.
Just start your 5th day of tour by sightseeing at Jaisalmer. Some major tourist attractions of Jaisalmer include Bada Bagh, Jain temples, Amar Sagar Lake, and Folklore Museum. You can also visit Nathmal Ki Haveli and Salim Ji Ki Havekli that are most striking among other havelis.
Later, drive to the golden Sam sand dunes, which seem to be the venue for grand finale of Jaisalmer desert festival. Get back to hotel and have an overnight stay.
After having your breakfast in the morning, drive to Jodhpur airport from where you can board another flight to Delhi. After reaching the Delhi Airport, you can board the concerned flight for starting your onward journey.
